Bruce earned a bachelor’s degree from Central Missouri State University and is fully certified as a Residential Combination Inspector (formerly known as CABO) by the governing organization of the International Code Council (ICC). In addition to membership in the Southern Building Code Congress International (SBCCI), Bruce is a full member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), the Georgia Association of Home Inspectors (GAHI) and the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors (NACHI). Bruce has passed the prestigious National Home Inspector Examination and currently teaches home inspection classes at America’s Real Estate Academy, Inc. He has completed more than 1,500 home inspections since the year 2000 and he is also a State Registered Real Property Appraiser (#271138)

Bruce began his home inspection career with more than 15 years experience in residential remodeling, including three years as the owner of a home remodeling company. His prior work experience also includes positions as Quality Control Manager for Pepsi-Cola where he was responsible for conducting plant and warehouse inspections and as a Diving Officer for the U.S. Navy where he conducted underwater inspections of naval ships. His rare combination of extensive training, hands-on experience and ability to effectively communicate with all parties involved makes Bruce uniquely qualified to meet your home inspection needs.
